Fire King
Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation was established in 1937 through the merger of Hocking Glass and the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation. In 1942, the company introduced its now-iconic Fire-King line of heat-resistant glassware, cherished for its durability and charm. Over the decades, Fire-King became famous for collectible favorites such as the soft green Jadite, the dreamy Delphite Blue, the striking Blue Mosaic, the intricate Philbe pattern, and the colorful Gay Fad hand-painted designs. Production of Fire-King glassware continued until the late 1970s, leaving behind a legacy of timeless style and nostalgic appeal.
